Greetings
I am moving to Dubai next month and my work will be in Jebel Ali and have heard the closest residential apartments are Discovery Gardens.
My Queries are:
- Can we pay in 6 or more monthly cheques.
- Have read mixed reviews about DG, Please suggest best part to stay in DG.
- looking for a 2 bedroom apartment
- what will be monthly rent.

Before you decide go there at the time you'd need to leave in the morning, and see if you can handle the traffic. It can get quite bad.

Thanks, any other close by residential areas to live near Jebel ali my budget is70,000 AED Yearly and need one bedroom flat for Couple no kids.

JLT (Jumeirah Lake Towers) certainly within your budget, probably Marina also. Both (IMHO) far, far nicer than Disco. Have a look on Dubizzle.com.

Jumeirah Village Triangle is one of the few places that has 1 bed villas which are very spacious.

JLT has a lot of traffic problems though. And there are some parking issues that seriously need to be considered. (i.e. if you have only one car, and only will have one car, you'll be fine. But if you have two cars, expect to have to pay another 8,000AED to park there.)

Good point. Some parts of the Marina are nightmarish too. As with Disco, part of your investigation should be visiting at the times you expect to leave and get back. I live just off the Marina, and one of the selling points was that access to and egress from SZR takes just a couple of minutes.

you'll be hard pushed to find a one bed aprt in the marina for AED 70k - you are more likely to get a studio apartment.

rental prices in the marina and JLT are on the increase.

DG is pretty much a sh*thole i gotta say, but you can get some huge aprts for next to nothing.
