Simply beautiful! At first I thought they were pictures taken by Anne Geddes.
I wouldn't have the heart to eat them though - they are so lovely!

Thanks IG. That was my first thought when I opened the attachement... Many hours went into making them, every detail is amazing.
I couldn't eat them either.

hmmm...scary is my first thought, and looking at them again...it does not do anything for me...don't like Anne Geddes either and they are similar to that.
Why make them out of eatable (sp?) material...where would you start?
And if they are not for eating...what are they for.

So babies scare you
There are no rules for what medium you choose for your art work - so what if it is from edible material (just like vegetable carving, ice carving....)
They are so realistic - the person who made them must be artistic and talented - not to mention creative!

No one asked if you like or disliked Anne Geddes, I just happen to and her art work touches me but this work is not designed by her... Thats the maternal side of me I guess.
Why make them edible... For christening cakes, ect... When my eldest was due, the company I worked for made me a leaving cake with little pink booties, hat, crib and they were made out of marzipan with great detail and for sentimental reasons I did not eat them and in fact still have them.

I just don't like them...
Don't want to enter a whole debate about art. Someone mentioned A Geddes, so I just mentioned that I don't like that either and that they seem similar... That's all...
