Its called give and take. The husband gives and the wife takes. I find that very fair!

but Meow, if someone has given up their career - which may have been very successful - to look after the kids, and been away from work for a number of years, then it's not always easy to get back on the career ladder. Granted, you could probably get a lower lever job, but why should you do that? and as long as the family income means you don't have to work, then why should you...?

MM, xx

This is a choice between husband and wife, ie a marital decision not a business contract

hey, I carried on working, looked after the home and brought up my family. The husband just went to work. I think I've earned my "me time". Think they call it multitasking, something men seem to find difficult. As for making a contribution, I do, I'm here arent I?

Confucius, what can I say. I've brought mine up without the help of the 'village'. Dont you think I deserve a rest. Oh and I think I am making a contribution to society by spending our money and helping the local economy Haha even made myself laugh then.

Live and let live...no need to justify what you do or how you do it...only you know what's right for you...
