Cost of renting in KAEC.

Hi Folks,

Looks like sooner or later I'll be part of the expat world and most likely this would happen in the beginning of 2016. Also there is a big chance I am going to live in KAEC. So if someone of you have information about how much is the average rent for a small apartment in that city that would be great.

I am single male and if some other single people give me an approximate cost of living in this city it will be awesome.

Thanks in advance!

P.

KAEC...King Abdulaziz Economic City, up the coast from Jeddah.
No idea, about the cost of rent there but assuming you're talking local rents and not compound rents then in Jeddah 5-6,000 SAR a month gets a very nice apartment. Compound rents double that at least.

Can you be a little bit more specific? I hardly distinguish between compound and rent. Is KAEC compound or it is rental properties?

Sorry to bugging you and thanks for the advice!
