Pregabalin is marketed as LYRICA. This story in "The Saudi Gazette" tells a tale

Just because your company provides health insurance doesn't mean it's any good. Find out what is covered and what isn't BEFORE you get sick.

The brands of everything here are limited, compared to what you find in the UK. It's almost guaranteed that if you prefer a particular brand you won't find it in any shops.
I'm not sure why, possibly bureaucracy or bribery, but shopping in Saudi - even in a metropolis like Riyadh - is usually expensive, frustrating and disappointing. I rarely bother looking for anything in particular, but will have a browse in a few, select department stores and supermarkets once a fortnight or so.
Online shopping should be getting better, as Amazon recently bought Souq, but I'd still bring in anything you deem necessary.

Shopping for textiles and clothes can be amazingly diverse in KSA. Has anyone been in the Souk in downtown Jeddah ? Especially in the High season of the Pilgrimage. There is more to life than Marks and Spencers and Primark !
