Cost Of Living In Bahrain
Hi there,
My husband has been sent an email from an employer asking what his salary expectation is for the position of Warehouse Manager.
The problem is that we have no idea what the cost of living is.
Please could anyone help me with either of the following two:
The cost of living in Bahrain(e.g. 2/3 bed furnished apartment, car hire, groceries, clothes, independent school for a teenager)?
or
The average salary for a Warehouse Manager in Bahrain?
Thanks.

You will get a 2 bedroom apartment for about BD500 upwards. Car hire would be BD180 to 200 a month. Groceries and clothes I would put at being about 50% more than the UK. St Christopher's is probably the best bet for education and depending on the age of your child secondary school fees run from BD1500 to BD2300 a term. Sorry no idea on the average salary for a Warehouse Manager.

We pay for a 3 bedroom villa in Saar, 650 BD per month. Gasoline is 0.1 BD per liter, car hire around 150 (Hyundai GETZ), food cost the same as in the UK (unless you want to buy pork as much as in the UK; alchool is more expensive say 20% more); Schools 1250 upwards per term
