Converting Spouse Visa to Work Visa?

Any advice on converting spouse to work visa?
My wife is coming to AD with my sponsorship, but just found work in Dubai. Is it easy to transfer a resident to a work sponsored visa?

Thanks.

I would imagine it is just a case of a no objection letter from you and then the company will sort it out for her. I wouldn't want to commute between AD and Dubai though :(

Thanks. Actually, we're thinking about Jebel Ali. I work near AD airport so hope that cuts down the commute a bit.

its still a 45 min commute on mad roads and when its foggy they will close the road, and when its not foggy its still mad, and its really boring, wouldnt recommend it, my hubs used to do it on the old road and it was much more dangerous then, but he still is doing the commute from 'near' to the airport up to ja every day and then coming back into ad town, you need to have a good solid car and also one that will last, as you will be doing a lot of mileage etc.

Thanks. Not a long commute fan, I use the trains here and will miss my morning reading time. Unfortunately, my wife's job is at DIFC, we're a bit stuck and hoping that I can, at a later point, work out some flexibility with my work. Planning a CR-V purchase, should be reliable and handle the mileage.

you will have to get up pretty early to beat the 'rush' as its getting pretty busy going both ways now, it used to be AD-DXB but nowadays because of the rent in AD there is just as much traffic going the other way.
