Accountants in the airlines have figured out that some people in the Gulf have more money than they need ! The pricing of tickets is the airlines method of wealth-redistribution !

The lowly paid suffer the most, all to fund the deep pockets of Emirates/Qatar owners.
So what were you saying about wealth redistribution?

Re: Confusion over flight prices!
i priced Dubai to Glasgow last night for Sept. came in at 640 GBP.
Priced the trip back from Glasgow to Dubai, 2 month stop over in Dubai, to Singapore at national day weekend, three days there, back to Dubai for three weeks and onto Glasgow at Xmas for 540 GBP!
Just need to use some air miles to get to Glasgow in September

Re: Confusion over flight prices!
I'm looking at the mo too.
Have 2 wedding left this year. No.1 in London at the start of Oct and the other in Glasvegas at the end of Nov. Added in a cheeky stopover in the Dam on the way back in Sept..... some decent prices coming back if I group them all together and fly into London for the second wedding (which is not an issue).

Plus, if you do it at work, you're getting paid to do it.
