Colour blind medical check UAE

Dear all,

Has anybody carried out his medical pre-employement check being colour blind in UAE?What was the outcome?

I have been working as an engineer for ovee 20 years, always deemed fit and never had a problem abroad as it has never affected my work as Im not a pilot nor an Electrician. I dont if drs. criteria in UAE is different.

Did have it tested when I renewed my driving license. I asked the guy and he implied red/green blind might be a problem for getting a driving license.

Im colourblind and failed the test that is needed for swapping driving licences, however they still did my licence

Had to get an eye test done to renew my license. The eye doctor wasn't there though so the other doctor asked me if my eyes were okay.

I said yes.

he stamped the form.

Sounds like Italy. Just pay and get stamped. I've done that a few times.
