Cold Remedies....
I must be having one of the worst colds Ive ever had in years. Eyes watering. Sneezing by the second. Blocked ears and nose. Splittin headache. Yukky tummy. Total boredom........... :scared:
Any ideas on how to rid of this asap.........ggrrrrr

hubby made me hot toddies.....small shot of scotch, large dollop of honey, spoonful of dark brown sugar, juice of one lemon/lime and hot water. adjust measurements to taste.
but now Im addicted,

1. get a large saucepan, fill with water and boil, turn down to simmer, put your head as close (and over) the steam as possible and make sure you have a tea towel over your head.
2. mustard plaster on your chest as hot as you can stand it....do this only if y ou can stay in bed for at least 20 minutes or longer. Doing it at nite just before sleep is great.
3. hot rum toddy or warm brandy
