Cigars??
I'm leaving for Oman in a couple of weeks and wondered if anyone knows about what can and what can't be shipped out/ imported.
I have 20 or so really nice cuban cigars which I don't want confiscating from me when my gear arrives a few weeks after I get there. Also I'd like to take some unopened tubs of creatine (weight training supplement bought from a high street store here in the UK) Anything you can't take? Other than the obvious drugs and booze etc? Thanks in advance. |

Cigars shouldn't be a problem...I once brought in 5 boxes of 25's,not even a question was asked...Not sure about Oman though...

Re: Cigars??
I brought 40 Cohiba's into Oman once and it wasn't an issue.

Re: Cigars??
Thanks for the replies guys. I'll give it a go although like the man says these cigars are for special occasions only ie on a decent golf course although looking into golf courses in Oman it looks like I might as well leave them at home :(

Re: Cigars??
Maybe, but apparently they are building a grass golf course next to the airport - hurray. Got to wait till 2009 though :( Till then its a sand course and a piece of astroturf - bit different to what I'm used to!

Re: Cigars??
Brown golf at Ghala Wentworth is certainly better than no golf at all, but just barely..

It's not real golf, but it will do in a pinch.
