Christmas party at embassy, how do I get in?

Christmas party at embassy, how do I get in?
I know that knowing the right "WHO" is generally how one gets one foot in the door....... but I only arrived last week and except a hopeful hash next week im not sure how much networking i can get done......
or if not any veterans got any ideas about festive activities this year?

All you can do is hopefully meet somebody who will get you on "the list"...as least that was the case when I lived there.
Try to get on the list for the American embassy, their activities are pretty good!
For that it is good to know some Marines, a sure way in.

with a pinch of luck im going on a hash this weekend, hopefully i can make some friends there.... maybe i should bring doughnuts?
ALSO: what do i need to bring hashing? I bought sunglasses, hat, sun block, i have pleanty of water....

Yeah, that is my understanding, if I were working at king fisal or national guard but I'm working at security forces hospital... One of the first westerners... It's mostly all Malaysian and filipino.
I'll post again after the hash, hopefully I can make some western connections

Water and other drinks you can get on the hash so don't worry about taking gallons with you...
