Best place for dim sum in London, I think, is either Jade Garden on Wardour St or New World, which I guess you know if you're near Gerrard St...

1, No good chinese places in Barsha, although chop chop does a passable shredded chilli beef but no more than passable
2, Satwa has one decent place (noodle bowl), there is one in Lamcy (Lang Kwai Fong) and a couple in Deira
3, Almost all of the restaurants in Chinatown (London) are rubbish. New World is the wonderous exception. Best Chinese restaurants in London are in Bayswater and Colindale.

dont apologise, they are called chinkys where i am from also
and in Portsmouth we all went to our local chinky, who didnt get offended either

Also that was in Portsmouth also, infact one of my collegues best pals dad owned our local p*ki shop, where we were most welcome
