Has anyone got any promotional codes etc for hiring out a motor when we are back in the UK?

Just after any old vehicle for a weeks rental

Or any advice/tips/experiences

i've used www.airline-network.co.uk in the past and found their rates pretty reasonable.

never tried www.easyrentacar.com but i spose it's worth a shot.

Automatic 1 class upgrade with Avis and a BA executive club card

Always book an automatic car in the lowest bracket and you will always get 2 or 3 group upgardes as there are no group A's available.....

I was told Emirates do a fly drive in the Uk and that its not much more expensive than the flight! have not checked this out yet tho :blink:

Ok let me know afterwards as when we visit home will need to arrive in Gatwick and then zoom up to Chester, but have been told by a travel agent that we can dump the car and fly out of Manchester for no extra cost ??

if you speak to Naz at holiday autos though he will tell which deal is the best around - like including with airfares etc and if you tell him that you a member of the Desert Wives you will get a discount as well - AA get Mrs AA to do it. there is a special rate for us on his web or at least there was.

Prices are much better in the UK as there is much more competition but in Eire you get ripped off ... unless of course you hire a tractor :lol:
