Changing jobs in UAE
Hi all,
I am working UAE (Dubai) on an employer sponsored visa where i have been for 4 years on an unlimited contract. At the time of visa processing in 2014, my Diploma Chartered qualification was attested, no problem. I do not have a degree and the certificate of comparability from a UK body saying the Diploma is equivalent to a Masters Degree was accepted as endorsement. I understand UAE and other GCC countries have since had a change in policy and will not attest membership / fellowship of Chartered Institutions. Moving on to 2018, if i was offered alternative employment with issue of a NOC from the current employer and the role is similar, will re-attestation be required and would this apply if it was Abu Dhabi? If so, this could pose a problem. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks. |
Re: Changing jobs in UAE
For an issue like this, I would ask your potential new employer (copying to them the certificates and attestations). They'll be the people who have to present your certificates to get your visa authorised.
