Cars in KSA - Isofix points?
Hi all,
I'm trying to determine if new cars in KSA generally have Isofix points for child car seats. Does anyone have any information?
My husband's employer is providing us with a car, and just sent a list of vehicles for us to choose from. Unfortunately we received this list this morning and they want an answer from us today - which doesn't give us much time to research our options!
Our biggest concern is safety. We have a 7 year old son and a 1 month old daughter so how and where we can install their car seats would normally be a big factor in our decision, but there is no information on that in the specs we have been given. In fact, the information we've been given is a bit muddled; we have fairly detailed specs for some cars and almost nothing for others. In some cases I'm not even sure which model it is that they're offering us! It certainly is making the task of comparing our options difficult, especially for someone like myself who isn't that knowledgeable about cars to begin with. (And my husband is at work, so I've been tasked with figuring out what would suit us best. )
As well as information on the availability of Isofix points, I'd welcome any comments/recommendations on what might be good and/or what we should avoid. We will be getting a 4x4 of some type, and probably one of the larger ones. I'd list them - but they've sent 19 different options!
Thanks!

I'm not sure if its Isofix (not familiar with that) but our Ford Expedition has a connector system, so the carseats are not attached by seatbelts. Apparently this is standard on US import cars.
Go for a big, big 4x4!

A "Mutawwamobile" is good - one of those really big GMCs. You can afford the gas in the Middle East so why not ? It would bankrupt you in the Yookay !

Got a Chevy Tahoe with the US equivalent to ISOFIX and works with my Mamas and Papas ISOFIX seats.

Toyota fortuners (2010) models didn't have isofix
Of course all range rovers do.

Not surprised. Toyota is worst piece of crap when it comes to kit. I wanted a Prado but couldn't bear the thought of spending 90min every day behind that cockpit. Zero kit, zero appeal.
