Car Repair - Doha
Hi all, I'm new to Doha (six weeks in) and need some advice on car stuff!
While driving down Salwa the other day, there was a really handy pair of aluminum ladders lying in the middle of the road I ended up driving over them and now my back bumper is half-off at one side, kind of above the wheel arch and around to the back end of the car.
As it wasn't a bump, do I need a police report to go and get it repaired? I've tried popping it back in myself but as soon as I drive it begins flapping in the breeze. Also, if I don't need a report, recommendations of a mechanic would be greatly appreciated.
Any advice would be grand. Thanks in advance!

You do need a police report. Best to get your PRO to sort it out. It is some years since I last had to get a police report after someone banged the car in a car park. I can't remember the cost but it was all done by the PRO without needing the car.
Did you keep the ladders: I need to get up to the water tank on the roof ?
