Car rental in Doha

Hi everyone

I have recently arrived in Doha for work and will be here for 14 months. I am looking at renting a car and would like some recommendations as to reputable and relatively competitive car rental companies - any tips?

I am looking for a medium sized/small SUV type car.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the recommendation - what should I be looking to pay for a medium-large sized/SUV type car (say a Chev Malibu or Ford SUV)?

Did you even look at the Oasis link given above?

QAR4k/month for a shitty SUV, Ford Edge or similar. Will have had a hard life on the streets of Dodge city...

Or, do as I do and rent a QAR2k/m Nissan Sunny Classic and add some excitement into your life, pitted against the locals' weapon of choice, the Landcruiser 5.7 v8, driven by 16 year olds ;)

:-)

As much as that would make things interesting, I suspect the Nissan wouldn't last a day!

Take his advice mate , just take a battered old Sunny and get yourself around . No need to be paying out big lumps of cash on hired motors to start with .
