Default Car finance in Dubai

Hi, is it possible to buy a car by just giving the dealer a load of post-dated checks?

My bank have offered me a loan, which is tempting to take... but I'd rather just give a 'chickens' every month from my current account. Credit card is also a possibility, although my main c.card is a company card, so although I can, I would rather not put my car payments on this.

you can organise finance through the dealer but in this climate I would imagine they are recommending using your bank. We have always done it via the bank.

Ours is financed by our bank in the US. We paid via wire transfer. Mild hassle.

We got ours through the garage who used Emirates Bank...very painless.
