Buying a diamond engagement ring in Abu Dhabi or Dubai
 

Does anyone have any advice on where to get diamond engagement rings in Abu Dhabi or Dubai? I am cautious of getting ripped off and also will you get more 'ice' for your dirham buying one here in the UAE than in the UK?

bought one at the Gold and Diamond Park on SZR.
don't think I got ripped off.

cara in the gold and diamond park. We got our wedding bands there, and my good ladies engagement ring.

I always use Karats in Lamcy Plaza. Odd choice you may say. Hanson the Manager has been a friend of mine for many years. I have taken alot of friends to him. He sources the diamonds separately and then you choose the diamond and he then arranges for it to be set.

Cara has a good reputation also.

I use Cara too - they spent two hours making my wedding ring from my grannies old rings - gratis.

My engagement, wedding and eternity rings came from Damas..... god that was along time ago - or least it feels like it x

as said khalifa jewellers or i got my one in palm jewellery in admall i did the rounds looked at a lot of the shops on offer in the malls, damas (which are the most expensive for the carat etc), carcossne in hamdan centre, the gold souq here etc and palm jewellery certainly came out best value for money in ad.
