Question To buy or rent and places?

I have been doing a bit of research online regarding places to live and whether I should buy or rent a place while living in Dubai.
My husband (if he gets the offer) will be getting 75,000 a year for housing. What can we afford for that? Name of Villas or townhomes or Apartments? He will be working in Jumeira area (which seems to be very expensive area to live in!)
Can anyone direct me to prices and places to look at once we get to Dubai?

Thank you!

Well if your husband is working in Jumeirah, its best that you live in the area. You can find various living possibilities at the following link.

I have looked at the website ... but it seems that most of these places are too expensive?!?! We would like a 2 bed / 2 bath villa or apartment. My husband will be getting 75,000dhs a year for housing ...
Thank you for you help, philipz!

You can likely find something on sheikh zayed road or in jumeriah. Here is an example.

Just a quick point - Sharjah may not be the best place to live for you as it's dry.
