Hi All,
I am trying to obtain a ‘Buy to let’ mortgage to buy a residential property in the UK. Being a non UK resident currently based in the Middle East my options are limited. Found some names on the internet who are willing to assist or provide mortgage to UK non-residents, e.g. International MortgagePlans (Mortgage Broker), Skipton International Ltd., Barclays, etc.


If anyone has used these Banks or the above mentioned Mortgage Broker to obtain a BTL mortgage, then pleases hare your experience.


Also, appreciate any other recommendation currently available in the market for British Expats.

you are aware of the so-called "landlord tax" on BTL mortgage interest, right? By 2020, you'll no longer be able to claim tax relief on your interest. Make sure you factor that into your financial plans.
