BT Internet# in AUH

BT Internet# in AUH
I've been trawling the web trying to get a definitive answer on this, however can't find a yes/no... My understanding was that you could buy a "bt" internet number (03 or something), and basically have the laptop connected all the time like a phone. like skype except not shit. has anyone else heard of this, or have I made this idea up and convinced myself it's actually true?
