Crowne Plaza is very good in terms of the variety and quality of food available, but the later you stay, the more raucous it gets.
If you want one with a pool attached, try the Intercontinental.
Apparently the best, although I've not been as I'm saving it for a special occasion, is Bushido, the Japanese restaurant in Seef.

Many thanks. I think we'll go Crowne Plaza, I'm partial to a bit of raucous.

The large mall with the Multiplex Cinemas. Cannot remember the name. They have a really good place, but I suspect that the Demon Drink is not sold. Positive side to that is that many of the Inebriates of Bahrain go elsewhere !

Demon Drink is needed in large amounts. There are a few of us in the region and we meet up every few weeks for brunch. It's the first one in Bahrain we've done. My only experience of the place to date is the Diva and Diggers so all advice much appreciated.

most brunches offer two prices: one for unlimited alcohol and one for alcohol-free
