British Schools in Dubai

British Schools in Dubai
Hi there, am not new to the site but have not been on for ages and dont really know what I am doing I have to say!!!!
I did ask questions for about good british schools in Dubai and we have put our applications in to DESS and DESC but still awaiting places every good school is on waiting lists. Repton as suggested is very expensive and we are having to pay all 4 children's schools fees ourselves plus accommodation. Where is a good place to live in a compound as I need somewhere for the kids to play but not far from the schools. All accommodation is so expensive too - we lived in Doha and Bahrain years ago and it was never that much plus had 2 school fees paid!

welcome, if you do get the kids in DESS or DESC I would look at the Arabian Ranches, Victory Heights and surrounding areas, access onto the Emirates Road is pretty good from those areas. A cheaper area is Mirdif and that is good for DESS and DESC too. There are other English schools though.
