Default British retailers in Dubai

Hi,
I'm trying to get a list together of major British retailers in Dubai.
Can anyone give me some pointers as to who is out there.
Thanks.

what do you mean by british reatailers, btw - british-owned, or those on the uk high street? if it's the former, guess you could try the british business group...

there are hardly any kitchen cabinet shops here...I recall seeing one along SZR but don't know they name...it's not like back in Europe where every city has their SieMatic, Bulthaupt etc showrooms...
Kitchen here are just the pits, from what I have seen even in the more expensive houses they are just horrible horrible, they look dated, have no nice features just rows and rows of plain cabinets. Since a lot of people are renting and only here for a few years, they probably don't really care.
Not sure what they are like in the properties that are sold but I won't hold my breath...

well we're going to get burooj to do it, the landlord is shite, we'll just get all things done and pay for it ourselves, we need them to come and:

Put seal in shower (not a real seal, but a silicone seal so the water stops going all over the ****ing place)
New shower head in other bathroom - ours has perished
Fix electric gates - stopped working after 3 months
Check AC and service it - doesn't seem to be as cold as it used to be
Fix outside lights - stopped working after 3 months
Fix 2nd sink - has leaked since day one
Put blackout blinds up - walls seem to be made of cottage cheese, I tried and it seemed to fall apart

Thanks for the PM Spugsy. We may need to get ours decorated soon, assuming that's the norm if and when you move out!
