Is it true.... It's shut? Been a while since my last Bahrain visit, surely not.

On my last visit they were restricting access. Moves from the Pious Ones to stop the "Liquor Trade". Quite right too !

Terminology is intersting. In Central Africa ( post Federation !) they used to call them "Bottle Stores" A colonial expression ? Or maybe imported from India !

Don't really see the point of these shops for KSA residents, you'd either have to drink it there or risk trying to take it back with you and getting deported etc. Or am I missing something??

Like Ronnie Biggs wrote, you can get it delivered to your house. If you make an order by 10 (or something like that), they will do same-day delivery. Except on Fridays, since they are shut.

Like Ronnie Biggs wrote, you can get it delivered to your house. If you make an order by 10 (or something like that), they will do same-day delivery. Except on Fridays, since they are shut.
