Bored in Riyadh
 

Hi my first weekend here in the capital and looking for some thing to do or go, i am near King Fahad Medic City.

Hi, I was sooo bored a weekend or so ago. Got over it now. Things to do (don't know your age, interests, etc) but here goes with a (fairly limited) list:

1. Shop
2. Golf
3. Hash
4. Dune buggying
5. Horse riding
6. Gardening (?)
7. Visit Diryah ( a pile of old rocks)
8. Go camping

alternatively you can get out the wine and have a drink . . . Once you've been here a while and know people life will pick up somewhat. Anywhere in the world where you are new the first weeks will be boring cos you don't know people - it will get better.

Others might have additional ideas, but it is somewhat limited out here. And of course there are always the scinitillating and erudite threads to read on BE.

I am near there also. You dont happen to be in Rest Inn by any chance, this is where most Brits are put up during the 1st few weeks.

What line of work are you in?
