Default Blogger/Blogspot blocked in freezones/Du?

There are reports that the entire Blogger and/or Blogspot domains are being blocked by Du, in the freezones as well. This apparently happened about the same time my blog was blocked (though at the time those on Du still seemed to be able to access me).

Can anyone confirm what is being blocked and where? And does anyone have any more knowledge about this.

samuraisam has posted about it on UAE community blog but presumably if it is blocked, those affected are going to be unable to respond there.

We have Du (in Ranches), access is fine to your blog and the UAE Community Blogspot.

Ah well. Just so long as I'm not singlehandedly bringing down the whole of Blogger, hopefully it's just a technical glitch in some "free"zones.

There's a mirror on LiveJournal anyway. I will add an accessible link to the Blogspot comment pages on each new post (via the numerical Blogger ID).

The comments are generally far more interesting than most of my posts

It also makes better sense if you would backup your backup...

Sorry, I did not see this post (being down the page) and I started a new one in the SandPit.

I cannot access any blogspot.com website including the UAE community blog (http://uaecommunity.blogspot.com/). This has been going on for a week now. I am with Du in the Dubai Marina.

Just tried accessing the UAE Community blog using Du in the Springs, and it's timing out.

First sign of blocking I've ever seen with Sahm/Du. Course, it works fine with VPN switched on

Who do you use for VPN? How much? Europe or US? Is it skype friendly? Easy to set up? Speed ok? Any hassles / niggles?

Thanks!

You have a PM. Probably best to keep this sort of thing under the radar

Yeah - but go here and you can sign up for a feed, which will contain (working) links to the comments pages for each new post. The comments are usually the most interesting part

Alternatively any RSS reader should work, such as Google Reader.
