I am going to Satwa tomorrow and will check out Ravi's .. all this talk of Indian food makes me miss my fav Indian Restaurant in Wembley/Alperton which I reckon has the best selection of Indian Restaurants outside India.

If you're into Indian veggie food, try Chappan Bhog on Trade Centre Road - they're pretty good too.

I cant believe no one has mentioned the British Tandoor !! (bottom of the Toyota Building)
They deliver very quickly and do authenic british curries!..(Brit asian chefs)
They are no different to the ones you would get in the UK.

It has been around for a fair few years, so im surprised you have not tried it.
They have the menu on the website, and do all the favs!!
I have yet to find a better place in Dubai

The good thing is that they used to have a brit guy answer the phone, so giving directions and ordering takes a minute or two, instead of 30 minutes.
It so nice not to have a translator or speaking in Asian/phillipino English

They always do a mean Chicken Madras and Balti's, depends how hot you like your food.
When you call em', ask them to bring a menu with them.
Im sure they have more stuff on the menu than on there website.
let us know how you get on!
Prices arn't too bad so get a bit of a selection.
