Default Best compounds in Jeddah?

Hello,

Anyone living in Jeddah, apart from Arabian homes-which compounds are actually very good in the sense that they are actually worth their price?

I would say Mura-Bustan is better value for money than some of the others plus they did have space. Al-Basateen for example now wants 170K for a 3 bed house and will not negotiate - Mura will/did...

It depends on what you want from your compound and your budget.

I wouldn't go for al basateen. Friend of mine is living there and complaining about how the noise from one house transfers to the next ones. Apparently there is no Noise protection between the houses.

Why do you exclude AH?

Thanks for replying everyone.

Dilmun, hubby stayed at AH for 2 months-his saying is that as good as it was for him in a studio apartment, the 2/3 bedrooms ones are quite dated. According to him there was no sign of children either but then again it was the holidays but the one we are at now has children playing until 12 am!
