Best Coffee Shop in Abu Dhabi?
Just for a relaxing coffee, maybe a pâtisserie, somewhere to get away from it all (ie no madding crowds or ill-discplined kids), enjoy the view in peace and quiet, and preferably have a fag as well.
I quite like the one at level V in the tower at Marina Mall, but can be a bit touristy.
Novotel (now Mercure) has great ambience, but now smoke-free.
Bit stumped for any others. Any recommendations?

Jones the Grocer's nice, around 4th/15th - there is the possibility for ill-disciplined children however, particularly if mine are there......

Cafe at The One next to the BMW showroom does excellent cheesecake.
The shisha place behind Marina Mall is pretty chilled also.

La Brioche in Liwa Village Compound - they sell good bread too. Has a European feel to it.

TBH, i find their coffee and pastries very 'so, so' but it's easy to park on the road outside and the staff are friendly. The german bread is my favourite, you can buy a sliced loaf to take home, and the baguettes are good too.
