Default Barracuda in Umm Al Quwain

I was bombing back to Dubai after a booze run this afternoon, and couldnt help wondering why people are able to buy booze here. No complaining.., just intrigued

Ah yes.......... the Barracuda. Yes they have most things you might want - and some you might not........

Somewhere, I still have an unopened bottle of something which the label claimed was "Blended Whiksy" (sic).................. distilled in India.

I couldn't resist buying it - a litre was AED 15, or something..............

Hi where is this Aladin's Cave of Booze...at the moment every time I fly back I buy 4 bottles in the duty free! is it cheaper at Barracuda?

Drive up the Emirates Road (is it still called that?), until Junction 103, turn left towards the coast, and look for the weirdest and most unexpected landmark in the region - an apparently abandoned aircraft in the corner of a field. It's just past that.

If you are bringing wine in then you can buy 5 bottles. Your allowance is 4ltrs NOT 4 bottles
