Bank Loan
Once I have my work visa and opened a bank account and have a letter from my employer stating what my salary is, is it possible to obtain a loan straight away or is there any red tape I should be aware of?
Do the banks take a while to process applications or do they generally throw money at you?
Also, when opening an account do they generally come with a credit card or do you have to apply?

Which company do work for? Is it a multi-national/large local company?

im going to have to borrow for rental - the company is putting me up for a month so want to be sure I can sort a loan relatively quickly - can someone assure me this is possible?

If the company is listed you might get between 10 to 15 times your salary...Maybe more...Ask which bank your company is listed in and ask who to call for the loan...Should be easy...
