Bank account in Dubai for non resident: which bank?
 

Hello!

- I need to open a bank account in Dubai - something like a saving account (dhs and euro): with low fixed costs + if possible some interest rate (I will have no much money on it...20.000 US$ avarage...but still)

- I'm not resident here - but working for a company in Jebel Ali (I have no resident visa - my working base is in Europe)

Question:

- which bank do you suggest me? I have seen National Bank of AD - they ask min deposit 10.000 US$ - account costs 300 dhs / year - interest rate around 4% - cost for money trasfer abroad 30 dhs per operation

Do you suggest something else?

it's off shore hence it won't come under UAE jurisdiction.

Offshore banking is great - if you have a boat.
