Hello Bambi in Abu Dhabi, my wife and I are looking for work over in AD.

Could do with some advice on the best way to approach recruitment. I have been sending my CV off to companies with little response.

We are coming over Jan 30th for a week, there is a recruitment fair in AD we are attending.
Wonder what we could do in the meantime.

I am afraid I know very little about recruitment so can't really advise on the process, other than to say that is (like everything here) rather slow. However, if you were looking for something in my field, I might be able to help. What do you guys do?

It is definitely worth the effort if you are able to come and work out here. It's a great place, with some fabulous beaches and restaurants. However, housing is a problem as there is very little. Although if you persevere, you should get something.
