Hello Folks

Can anyone recommend something int he way of nightlife?

I dont really like stuffy bars in 5 star hotels and prefer something a little more spit and sawdust. A good Irish pub or somewhere my Mrs and I can relax at the weekend and have a few beers.

You're in the right place, Bahrain is probably the least stuffy of the Gulf states. My advice would be to join the Rugby Club.

Just moved to Dubai and missing Bahrain for all it's faults. Is there still teargas in the air (everywhere you look around....)?
