Hi ex-pats
I've been offered a job in Dhahran with BAE. I was pleased to get Dhahran as its on the coast and close to Bahrain.

I would be pleased to hear from anyone with experience of Dhahran and especially the BAE compound.
Also I am a keen windsurfer and have been told of the beach compound. Can anyone tell me if you can windsurf (or sail or kitesurf???) over there and is it worth taking gear over?

I've spent a fair bit of time on the BAE compounds in Dhahran (in fact was last there in April).
