Default Baby sitting prices in Abu Dhabi!

Hi,
We have a little curtain climber and we need 'adjunct child care'. We have been utilzing some Filippino girls that charge 15 durhams / hour. is that a good rate? Also, do you recommend any good preschools or nanny agencies? We dont want to sponser anyone, just part time.
thanks!

not sure if there are nannies or preschools in the faq, but there are schools and I think some preschools, worth a shot until someone else can chime in at least

Thanks for the great response! We will look into those places -also it seems you do get what you pay for -we are willing to pay more to have someone that is actually interactive, fun, and not just a bump on the log...

The average daily rate is between 15 AED to 20 AED for max 4 hours. which could make between AED 500 to AED 600.

I recommend that you take a look at classifieds section in Gulf News

Hitch

Hi Hitch,
thanks, but not sure I understand your post... do you mean you pay 15 or 20 AED for a 4 hour block? or do you mean 15-20 AED/hour?
And what is the AED 500 to AED600 about?
Please excuse my ignorance.

AED is Arab Emirates Dirham... We use to have a regular sitter and paid 15 Dhs ( Dirhams) an hour, which many ppl pay.
Sitters can also be found word of mouth you then know who your getting and its someone that can be trusted ( if that makes sense ) from those that are familair within the field.

Thanks! I thought that is what you meant. That sounds reasonable.
