Attestation of Aust degree for Doha

Hi All,
Not so sure if this means getting it stamped/viewed/verified/ sighted by commissioner of oath to certify that it is a certified true copy? Or is there more to this?

Anyone can shed some light?:blink::confused:

Thanks

Cheers!

I'm pretty sure it means being translated into Arabic and being verified by the authorities and any other gov department they choose before they grant you a work visa.

Nerve wracking it is but, in most cases, you have to send them the original. Nothing else will do.

My husband had to do the same for Saudi. Thus begins the hoop jumping process!

From recent experience, a UK degree needs these stamps for Doha:

UK Solicitor (attestation), UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office (Milton Keynes), Qatar Embassy (London), Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs (near Gulf Signal, Doha).

My suggestion would be to substitute your Australian equivalents, or pay for a specialist company to do it all for you, which is what I did.
