Athletic club

Do they have an athletics club in dubai?
For all ages?
What about gymnastics?
other than those attached to schools.

Thanks BC, but this is something we really need to consider before we go as our son is heavily in to his athletics at the moment so no club would be a disaster. I know they do it in school and that they will have a track at Sports City, but as yet i can find no other info:unsure:

Depends what ages they are as well. Dugym is one of the gymnastic companies and they run classes mainly at the schools, although your child doesn't have to attend the school to go. I remember hearing a couple of years ago that there was a v good gymnastic class at the arabic school next to safa horizon school but can't remember what it was called now? Havnt heard of any independent athletic clubs but there are quite a few inter-school competitions and also the BSME run an athletic competition, I know there was one a couple of weeks ago but not sure how regular they are.

Wondered whether there would be athletic coaching outside school.
