I am arriving in Qatar on Saturday for a 2 day interview. They want me to bring copies of my wifes and kids passports and birth certificates along with my marriage certificate as well as my professional certificates etc. Sounds like they are a bit keen to me.

Anyway, is there much to do over the two days what to look at etc. Is it grim?

Hopefully Novi can tell you all soon. She lives in Qatar.

I was there for some business last year and apart from meeting Novi, it was grim (compared to Dubai), but I went in winter and it was really grey and miserable. I know there are a lot of expats there that are very happy.

It must be a good sign if they want you to bring all your paperwork with you.

You know my thoughts, Majj. A 2 day interview sounds horrendous. I had a 1.5 hour one in AD on Saturday, and that was bad enough!

I did a 2 dayer at Abu Dhabi.


I cant eve stand that place, so i have no idea what Qatar is like!

it could be worse for Majj he could be going to Riyadh and he doesn't have Dubai as a comparison at the end of the day

AD seems miles better than Doha, from what I could tell. Far more bars to go to, and they are closer together than in Dubai, which saves Taxi fares.

Are you coming to work with QP? If it is it is normal ... for visa processing etc etc. Obviously you go for married status position.

Unfortunately it would be too hot to go out door ... unless you are an extreme sun worshipper .
