Apartment in Dubai

I'm a longtime reader, and occasional poster to the forum.
My wife and I have truly loved living in Dubai, but we're starting our next chapter in Singapore.

One thing I'm trying to sort out before leaving is our flat -
The landlord has been good to us, and I'd like to repay his kindness by helping find a new tenant. It will be vacant on 4 Aug, or earlier if necessary - here's the details:
  • Al Majara 2 - direct view of Dubai Marina
  • 1 Bed, 2 Bath - around 1000 SQFT
  • Modern kitchen
  • Great amenities - we have our own Costa Coffee for residents only!
  • Decent neighbors - quiet, professional people
  • Carrefour next door
  • Direct access to Marina walk
  • Dubai Metro 5 minute walk, Marina Mall around 5-10 min walk
  • Great happy hour at the Marina Yacht Club nextdoor
  • Fantastic gym, though possibly defective since I'm still a fatty

I paid AED 95,000 plus deposit, I don't believe he's going to raise the rent.
Air Con is paid by the landlord.. my DEWA bill is something like AED 500/mo.
The property is serviced by Du. No complaints from me.

You can PM me, if you want to get in touch with the landlord or ask me any questions.

Wait, AED 95,000 per month?! Maaan, Dubai real estate was never sensible, but I'm still getting a bit of sticker shock. Great looking place though, good luck!

Hah! Of course, per annum. :)
It may seem high but other 1br had worse views and higher prices.

It's a lovely spot and I'm gutted to leave it.
I just want to help the landlord get it tenanted and avoid any drama with my deposits and all.

Three problems.

Marina Traffic.
Mrs works in Mirdiff.
I prefer Downtown.

I just wanted to show appreciation for someone offering a nice apartment with a decent-sounding Landhelmet.

Thanks for the appreciation!

I don't drive, but the Dubai Metro is near the flat, and my office and my wife's office. Traffic and driving in general in Dubai isn't great.

For people like us, or maybe someone in Media City, or looking for easy access to the Marina and JBR and all that nice stuff, it'd be a nice fit.

Yep. I know exactly where it is, I was in Horizon Tower for 6months, but I worked in Internet City and the Mrs wasn't here then.

Good luck in Singapore!

I need a little bit of luck, and a lot of smog masks!

In case anyone is in the market - I'm shedding some Ikea stuff
