Anyone working for a Ministry, Abu Dhabi?

Hi all, was wondering if any of you out there are working at a Ministry in AD, and if so, what sort of assistance one would get with housing, ie do they have contacts with developers (yes, i'm really hopeful here after reading abt the housing glut)?

I'll be moving in Sep 08 (with husband + 2 kids) to work for a Ministry and will be making a recce trip (or 2) in july/ aug to meet employers and sort out housing/transport issues. At this stage, the contract details are still being finalised by my company (to which the AD govt has outsourced the project) so I don't know our entitlement just yet. Anyone can give me some sense of what to expect/ negotiate for?

Quite keen to hear from anyone (in particular ladies) who work in the govt sector, get an idea of the work culture and the packages usually offered to mid-level mgrs. Thanks in advance for responses! :)
