You are right that you will be in competition with cheaper labour - or you may have to justify a higher salary for doing the same job. I wonder if you might just consider finishing your qualification and then coming out because you will then have a competitive offer because although the Indian accountnts may be cheaper, they may indeed be formally qualified. In my opinion you will not be wanted as a PQ. But good luck though.

ahhh if only it were that simple - best time for my husband to move (work reasons) would be in the next couple of months. We're coming out there next week on holiday and to assess the lifestyle.
