Anyone know what sort of exchange rates Emirates NBD in UAE offer when sending AED > GBP using their 'DirectRemit' facility? Apparently they are 'competitive', transfers are free and arrive within 60 mins to any UK bank. The rates shown on the NBD website are just standard TT/SWIFT rates I think, ie eye watering but DirecRemit rates (offered to just a handful of countries incl UK) are supposed to be far better.
