Anyone know where there are decent classes in...
ballroom / salsa dancing and singing lessons in Dubai.
and I fully expect this thread to be royally hijacked and much derision directed towards me...
I did say I'd try to find out for someone.... the info is clearly not for me.
Any help though?

I know someone who is into ballroom dancing and lots of other dances. I will find out tomorrow where she goes.
If you have Time Out there are some places listed for salsa. There are a few places on the Beach Road but cannot think of them off hand.

If you're interested PM me and I'll put you in touch with him. The lessons are very relaxed and informal...I've done a few proper lessons and always found it to be a bit stuffy and unforgiving for chaps with two left feet like myself.

I can't help with the ballroom stuff but I have a friend who is a mean salsa dancer and he does private classes for mixed groups...always seems to have a lot of ridiculously attractive women for some reason though

Try The Alchemy of Voice by Stewart Pearce - has some good things about the voice in general.
