Anyone know of any gyms looking for personal trainers?
Hi, does anyone know of any gyms looking for personal trainers??? or any recruitment agencies that specialise in health & fitness staff????

Fitness first are always recruiting, that is because their staff are always leaving, that could be due to their 1000 dhs housing allowance!!! I would try the hotel chains if I was you.

Are you fully qualified?
I know of someone who will probably be setting up a company to put trainers in hotels. Too many here aren't properly qualified and do more harm than good.

It's not for me, it's for my boyfriend - so no career change.
Anyway, yes he's qualified, and worked for FF n yes you're right the pay is absolutely awful - I can't believe they can get away with it!!!

when i told mine I was moving out there he started asking about work out there for PT's... i'll see if he was serious about it although i can't see him earning as much out there as he does here!

There is a gym that employs PT's and pays well,they will also sponsor, you can PM me for details.
Also Dubai is a great place go it alone. I came out here 4 years ago knowing 2 people and I am doing ok.
If your friend is qualified and a good PT he can PM me for a chat if he likes.
