Anyone else heard the rumour about a public holiday tomorrow (Weds)?
Just heard from our HR department that apparently, serious consideration is being given to declaring another public holiday in Dubai for tomorrow :eek:
Supposedly this is due to the weather, which is expected to worsen and make commuting even more of a nightmare tomorrow. I can't believe they'd do that... would they? I guess if it's going to happen, they'll have to declare it within the next hour or so. |

I'm off tomorrow anyway (my weekend is Weds-Thurs), but if it happens, hopefully I'll be entitled to claim a day in lieu for it :thumbup:

All the building sites must be a mare to work in, they should shut them down for safety reasons...
