Anyone else getting texts from Zurich Insurance?
I'm insured with AXA via HSBC but I'm getting texts from Zurich Insurance telling me to call them to renew. Presumably HSBC has sold my details and Zurich is just trying to poach me away from AXA? I did wonder if AXA had rebranded as Zurich, but they do seem to be two separate insurance companies.

They are separate, but HSBC is tied* to Zurich so I imagine it's a sales thing. They want to shift their clients to all Zurich products, no matter whether they are best.
*For clarity, it means they can only sell the products of Zurich so do not offer 'best advice'. It's a lousy way to do business IMO.

Interesting. Previously I've always been phoned by someone at HSBC about renewing my car insurance through AXA, but I guess this year they'll only be interested in handling that if it's with Zurich?

That would be my guess, especially as HSBC are doing everything to reduce costs and increase profits. They are now giving rather a lot of SMEs in the UAE 60 days notice of account closure.

I have a couple of Zurich policies. I saved about 30% on the premiums by going through a broker vs. direct. The difference between the broker and the same policy through the dealer was about 80%.
